My name is Kristin Mueller and I am the founder and owner of Work and Play Therapy. I provide a warm, nurturing and safe environment for clients and their families and incorporate various techniques and therapies into my work depending on each individual’s needs.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with eleven years of experience providing mental health counseling to children, adolescents, and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. I am currently working towards her Registered Play Therapist credential and I incorporate play therapy techniques and theory in my work with children and adults. I attained a BA in Human Development from Washington State University and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University.

My education and training is in human development, clinical psychology, and mental health counseling. I have experience and training in the assessment of neuropsychological and learning disorders and I provide educational consultation and coaching with a focus on Attention Deficit Disorder, executive functioning, and the development of social skills and social awareness. In addition to my work with children and adolescents, I have also worked extensively with adults and children that are experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, and difficulties in the family system.
